WE ARE OPEN!! -- Covid-19 Update

Since November 16, 2020, Hawaii's Plantation Village re-opened to the public. In the best interests for the health and safety of our employees, docents, volunteers, guests, and the community, HPV continues to implement COVID-19 health protocols throughout our facilities, including the Village, Museum and Gift Shop.


Hours of Operation

    • Hours of Operation are Monday-Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
    • Tickets must be purchased at Village. NO ONLINE PURCHASES AVAILABLE.


COVID-19 Requirements

Visitors (12 years old and over and staying longer than 15 minutes) must sign into our COVID tracing registry. The following practices are now current:


    • 1) Proof of vaccination is not required.
    • 2) Proof of recent negative COVID test not required.
    • 3) Face masks are not required but recommended in indoor facilities. Face masks are available for sale.


Guided Tours

    • All guided tour requests should be made in advance.
    • Tour groups are limited to 12 visitors.
    • Guided Tours are held at 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. (last guided tour of the day).
    • Tours are 1-1.5 hours long and available in English and Japanese.
